WELKOM – Seven armed robbers were arrested following a robbery at a bank in Welkom this morning, 20 December 2019 at about 09:00.
“These arrests and seizure of cash robbed is an indication that we are turning the tide against crime. We will continue to squeeze crime to zero. My appreciation goes out to all members who worked together as a team in their swift reaction and ensuring the suspects were brought to book to face the full might of the law,” said the Acting Provincial Commissioner for Free State, Major General Solly Lesia.
