Tshwane Metro Police tactical unit arrested 4 suspects who were scamming people with counterfeit money in Soshanguve

The TMPD Tactical Unit members received a complaint on Wednesday 22 January 2020 about a silver-grey VW Polo vehicle with four suspects who were scamming people in Soshanguve.

While the members were patrolling the area, they spotted the vehicle and they stopped it. Inside the vehicle, there were 4 male suspects. After a thorough search, they found counterfeit money. The four suspects were then arrested.

In a separate incident, TMPD Drug unit also arrested 4 people for dealing and possession of drugs and dagga in Hammanskraal in the early hours of Wednesday 22 January 2020.
