WESTERN CAPE – The Crime Prevention Unit attached to Vredenburg SAPS followed vital information on 21 January 2020 and pounced on a residence where they arrested a 31-year-old suspect for possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
It is reported that the Unit was following information provided and on arrival in Swart Street they discovered the following:
* 1X Norinco Star
* 1X handgun
* 1X. 38 revolver
* 5 X .38 special rounds of ammunition
* 9X shotgun rounds of ammunition
* 1X magazine
The suspect has been charged with possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition. He will appear in court in Vredenburg on Thursday, 23 January 2020.
