A man in his fifties has been seriously injured in an apparent home invasion in Baines Avenue Glenwood on Monday night around 7:30 pm.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene with Blue Security to find the seriously injured man inside his house. The man had sustained a gunshot wound to his lower leg and was in a serious condition. Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilise the man on the scene before transporting the man to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.
SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
