This evening at approximately 9:20 Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to Seaslopes road in Margate for reports of a pedestrian hit by a truck.
When parademics arrived they found that a pedestrian had been run over by a truck and trailer.
Parademics quickly assessed the scene and found that the pedestrian had sustained critical injuries. Advanced life support paramedics tried to stabilize the patient. Unfortunately, the patients’ injuries were too severe and the patient went into cardiac arrest. Despite all efforts to resuscitate the patient, the patient was declared dead on the scene.
