The public is requested to be on the lookout for the three men pictured.
The suspects, dressed in the black, dark blue and light blue t-shirt are responsible for a spate of robberies that have occurred in the Verulam CBD in recent weeks. The picture is extracted from CCTV footage shortly before they approached a pedestrian on Wick Street and robbed him of his Samsung cellphone yesterday afternoon. The incident occurred in broad daylight and in full view of the public. The suspects then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
In all cases, the victims have reported that at least two of the suspects are armed with knives. They have threatened to stab the victims if they do not hand over their valuables.
The men are also suspected of being involved in chain snatching where unsuspecting motorists are being targeted while stationary at robots with their windows rolled down.
