Three men arrested by Batlharos SAPS for being in possession of suspected stolen property

NORTHERN CAPE – Three men aged between 27 and 42 years have been arrested by Batlharos SAPS members.
On Friday, 31 January at 08:30 in the morning, a joint roadblock including Batlharos SAPS members, CPF and Department of Transport Safety and Liaison was conducted on Tsineng road.

During the roadblock, a Hyundai car was searched and eight battery towers were found.

After its three occupants failed to give a satisfactory explanation for possessing the batteries, they were immediately arrested. The vehicle used as well as the batteries were confiscated.
The three suspects will appear before the Kuruman Magistrate court soon.

The Cluster Commander of John Taolo Gaetsewe, Major General Johan Bean complimented all structures involved in ensuring that justice is done.
