Four people were injured after the bakkie they were traveling in overturned on Inanda Road in Inanda.
At approximately 12:01 members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene and found an extensively damaged Mitsubishi Colt bakkie blocking one lane of the road. Four occupants of the vehicle sustained moderate injuries and were transported to the hospital by ambulance.
According to the driver they were traveling towards Verulam when the right-front tyre on his vehicle burst. The bakkie then overturned as he attempted to corner a sharp bend.
The driver was not injured in the accident.
