This afternoon Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the N2 at the intersection of P200 in Port Shepstone for reports of an accident.
When emergency services arrived they found that a taxi and Bakkie had collided while the bakkie was transporting children home from school.
Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that 4 occupants had sustained minor injuries. The patients were treated on scene before being transported to hospital.
The cause of the accident is not known but authorities are investigating.
