Limpopo: Police requests public’s assistance in locating missing man

Polokwane – The South African Police Service in Hlogotlou outside Groblersdal requests public assistance to locate a missing elderly man, Phillimon Thiela Matekola aged 68 who disappeared from his home at Syverfontein outside Monsterlus in the Hlogotlou Policing area, on 17 March 2020.

It is alleged that the man’s wife left him at home on this day but when she came back on 19 March 2020, her husband was nowhere to be found. Since then, he has never returned home.

He is tall, light in complexion and has short grey hair. The type of clothes he was wearing at the time of his disappearance is unknown.

The Police conducted search operations at various locations without success.

Further Police investigations and search operations are still underway.
