Kwa-Thema SAPS ensures safety during #21DaysLockdown

GAUTENG – At about 12:00 Kwa Thema SAPS members both from support and visual environment were out on the streets as part of the ongoing COVID-19 operations.

The police were out to ensure that community members adhere to the regulations, informal traders were visited and those who produced permits were allowed to continue trading, as others were shut down.

A woman in her 50’s was also warned as police found builders working in her yard for renovations and ordered to stop with immediate effect.

Police will continue to work tirelessly to sensitize community members of the importance of staying home and the consequences thereof should they disregard the lockdown regulations on the Disaster Management Act.
