Pick n Pay has shared communications with clients on measures taken at stores to ensure safe shopping during COVID-19:
“I shared last week our commitment to do everything we can do to stay open, safe, full and working. And I am extremely proud of our store teams that managed to open every store in our business during the first week of lockdown, so that you had a safe place you could buy your essentials.
It is our top priority to make sure that you and our staff are safe in our stores. This requires implementing and maintaining excellent hygiene practises and enforcing social distancing for our customers and our staff.
We are implementing several new initiatives to make our stores even safer. Many of them will be inconvenient for you but we ask that you work with us”
