DURBAN – It is alleged that on that 05 June 2020 at 09:30, the body of 41-year-old Thulani Mkhize was found in a pool of blood with stab wounds to the body at P Section in KwaMashu.
The body was found at Linda Nzama passage near the stadium. KwaMashu SAPS was summoned to the scene and the lifeless body of Mkhize was found with stab wounds. It was established that the victim was robbed of his laptop and tablet before being killed by unknown suspects. Charges of murder and robbery were opened for investigation.
Detectives immediately began investigating the matter to identify the suspects responsible for the murder. The suspects were traced and located in Section C and D in KwaMashu. They were found in possession of the victim’s laptop and tablet. The two suspects aged 20 and 21 are expected to appear at the Ntuzuma Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Khombinkosi Jula praised the team for the speedy arrest of the suspects involved in the murder.
