The South African Police Service (SAPS) #WomensNetwork and #Men4Change Structure has converged at the Orange Farm Police Station in Gauteng. #EndGBV
This follows the gruesome discovery of two bodies in the area on Friday morning. The Structure is in the area to give support to the affected families and community at large. The structure will also assess the level of service provided to victims and interrogate further on what type of interventions is needed.
Forming part of the delegation is the head of detectives, the head of Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Investigations within the SAPS as well as Women’s Network and Men for Change champions. The delegation will proceed to visit the affected families and render necessary support. SAPS Employee Health and Wellness (EHW) members are also part of the visit.
