Break-in suspect apprehended in Phoenix – KZN

One suspect was arrested and goods stolen during a break-in were recovered by members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA).

Reaction Officers received a tip-off of a break-in in progress at a liquor wholesaler in Phoenix, Kwazulu Natal. Officers converged on the premises and on arrival noticed one suspect jumping over the back wall.

A foot chase ensued and the suspect was apprehended. Four empty beer kegs that were stolen from the business was also recovered. The suspect is believed to be responsible for several break-ins in the area.
He was placed under arrest and is currently detained at the Phoenix SAPS.
