POLOKWANE – The police in Mahwelereng outside Mokopane has launched a search operation for a missing 14-year-old girl, Maria Mashaba from Ga-Madiba village.
It is alleged that on Monday, the 06 July 2020 at about 12:00, the victim’s mother left her at home, going to town. When she came back home, her daughter was nowhere to be found. She left without informing anyone about her destination.
The following day, the victim contacted her mother that she was on her way home but she never arrived. Her cellphone has since been on voicemail.
The type of clothes she was wearing during the time of her disappearance is not known. The Police conducted search operations at the families, relatives, friends, and the surrounding areas, with no success.
