Provincial Commissioner continues monitoring COVID-19 compliance across the province.

The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba, has on Thursday, 23 July 2020 visited members deployed at the COVID-19 roadblock along the R573 road next to Moteti in the Dennilton policing area under the Sekhukhune District.

The Provincial Commissioner was accompanied by Colonel Lourens and Luitenant Colonel Tshikonelo from the Dennilton Police Station.

The Provincial Commissioner proceeded to the second cross-border roadblock at Loskop Dam between Limpopo and Mpumalanga Provinces where he was accompanied by Groblesdal Station Commander, Colonel Seroka and Luitenant Colonel Africa from the Saps Middleburg District in the Mpumalanga Province.

During his visits at both roadblocks, the Provincial Commissioner inspected compliance on COVID-19 Regulations by all the deployed members. He further actively participated in the awareness campaigns, engaging with commuters and motorists to always comply with the COVID-19 Regulations and to adhere to all safety protocols such as wearing of face masks, sanitizing themselves and regularly washing their hands in order to curb the spread of Coronavirus.
