EASTERN CAPE – The determination of Jamestown Detectives paid off when they arrested the two notorious robbers with stolen items in their possession.
It is alleged a case of burglary was registered after a clothing store was broken into and various items with an estimated value of R37000-00 were stolen between 05 July 2020 and 06 July 2020.
Information on a suspect who was selling a plasma TV in the nearby township was received and followed up. The first suspect was found at a house at New Sites Masakhane Township, upon searching the house stolen items were found which included blankets, clothes and an amplifier.
The members then proceeded to another house where they found the second suspect and clothes and a DVD player were found hidden inside the house.
The suspects took the police to another house where 3 plasma TV’s and speakers were also found hidden.
Both suspects were arrested and charged for Burglary Business and will appear in the Jamestown Magistrates Court soon.
