A 44-year-old father commited suicide in Trenance Park

The body of a 44-year-old male was discovered hanging from the rafters by his 15-year-old daughter at their Larwood Close – Trenance Park home.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received the call for assistance. Upon arrival, it was established that the deceased had hung himself from the rafters in his bedroom using a piece of electrical cable. His daughter and 75 years father cut him down and contacted RUSA for assistance. He was declared deceased a short while later.

The family informed Reaction Officers that the victim showed no signs of depression and they did not recognize any warning signs or suicidal behavior.
