31-year-old Kimberley CBD drug peddler caught red-handed in possession of nine plastics packaged with Crystal Meth (Tik). The arrest of the peddler was effected at approximately 17h20 on Friday, 21 August 2020, subsequent to police observation. Vigilant officers observed the suspect doing drug transaction on a pavement in Stockdale Street.
Police out-smarted the suspect and restrained him, drugs which were in his possession were seized before he could discard them.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 24 August 2020, on count of possession of drugs.
The police in the Northern Cape continues to close down on criminals, to ensure that they are removed from the community.
