On 21 August 2020 an intelligence-driven operation was conducted by East London Crime Intelligent and Flying Squad which led to the positive results.
Two suspects 32 and 33 years of age were arrested in possession of two unlicensed firearms, with no serial number and ammunition.
A case of possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition has been opened and suspects will appear in the East London Magistrate court on 24 August 2020.
