EASTERN CAPE – SAPS Bethelsdorp detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing the next of kin of an unidentified male whose body was found near a rubbish dump in Kleinskool this morning, 22/09.
It is alleged that at about 07:25, police received an anonymous tip-off of a body lying near a refuse dump opposite the Kleinskool main road. On arrival, the body of a male approximately 30 years old was found lying on his back. Due to the nature of injuries, his race cannot be determined. He was wearing a grey top and black tracksuit pants. He was bare feet and both feet were slightly burnt. He had visible head and face injuries. Police suspect that the body was dumped there.
A case of murder is under investigation. Circumstances and motive are unknown at this stage.
