Durban Man Missing For 16 Months from Phoenix in KZN

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) is seeking public assistance in locating 40 year old Andre Pillay (aka Dre) who is missing from his Elmhaven – Phoenix home in Kwazulu Natal since May 16, 2019.

Pillay left home after a domestic dispute and has not been heard from since. He was employed as a Quality Controller at Tropics Plastics in Jacobs – Durban at the time of his disappearance and never reported back to work.

Andre Pillay is the father of a nine (9) year old son and a fifteen (15) year old daughter. He is approx 1.7 meters in height & slender in built. He has frizzy black hair, mustache and a beard. Pillay wears prescription glasses, uses size seven (7) shoes and has a tattoo (unknown design) on his right arm. He usually wears a black jacket (picture 2) that could have been in his possession on the day of his disappearance.

Pillay’s 75 year old father and his sister who is a resident of Dubai in UAE are desperate to locate him. They have not heard from him since his disappearance and his mobile phone has not been switched on again. A Missing Persons Report has been filed.
