NORTHERN CAPE – During Covid-19 crime prevention duties conducted in the Kathu policing area during level 2 of the Lockdown period, Sergeant Ben Eiman and Constables Blythe Jantjes and Beatriz Canchibato of shift C confiscated numerous dangerous weapons.
These dangerous weapons were confiscated by the members during stop and search actions to enforce the Lockdown Regulations.
Among the items were jamming devices used to jam vehicle alarm systems.
The Station Commander of Kathu police, Lt Col Sandra Boshoff commended the members for their efforts to enforce the Lockdown Regulations.
