FREE STATE – Cimac tracing team made a breakthrough on Tuesday the 15 September 2020 at about 10:00, after they arrested the 35-year-old wanted suspect at a block of flats in Brandwag, Bloemfontein.
Tumelo David Mosala was first arrested in Fouriesburg back in 2016 for being in possession of a stolen motor vehicle but he stopped attending court and a warrant of his arrest was issued and he has been on the run ever since. He also escaped the arm of the law when four of his friends were arrested during a house robbery in Bainsvlei back in June 2020.
The video footage was obtained after a business robbery and attempted murder incident that took place in Harvey Road, Bloemfontein in July 2020, after the owner was shot in the chest. The suspect and his friends fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Further charges and cases are expected to be uncovered through his arrest. Mosala will appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate Court soon on three charges of Business robbery, two charges of housebreaking and theft and a charge of escaping in lawful custody.
