A man was repeatedly stabbed during a robbery in Phoenix, KZN.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Phoenix Operations Center received a call from a passerby requesting assistance for the victim who was bleeding excessively from his wounds. On arrival Reaction Officers found that the victim had been stabbed on his hands and back.
He explained that while walking along a railway line he was accosted by three men who drew knives and robbed him of his valuables. The suspects then began stabbing him before they fled on foot. The victim was treated for his injuries on the scene before being transported to the hospital by a private ambulance service.
Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the suspects however no arrests were made.
