A 31-year-old man was found hanging by a rope attached to a wooden beam in his home in Mslasini – Everest Heights.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call at approximately 08:52 from the Verulam SAPS who were on scene and requesting assistance from Medics. On arrival, the man was pronounced deceased. His identity has been established.
The circumstances surrounding his suicide is unclear at this stage.
