Body found near Paradise Valley

Police officers from the Durban Search and Rescue unit along with Durban K9 Search and Rescue and Metro Police Search and Rescue, were called out to Paradise Valley in Pinetown. The decomposed body of an unknown male was seen floating in the Umbilo River near Eden Road, by a passerby.

The body was recovered and carried out to the roadway where it was handed over to police officers from Pinetown. An inquest docket was opened for investigation.
