Community assist robbery victim in Trenance Manor

Residents of Trenance Manor in Phoenix went to the assistance of a 26-year-old woman who was being attacked by two men on Woodmanor Place.

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call from a resident reporting the robbery. On arrival, it was established that the female was attacked as she was walking home from work. One of the suspects produced a knife and robbed the victim of her cellphone and handbag. The victim fought off her attackers which drew attention from the community who went to her assistance.

The suspect dropped the knife as he fled from the mob. During the pursuit, they also dropped the stolen goods which were returned to the victim. The robbers fled into Amouti.

Reaction Officers went in search of the suspects however no arrests were made.
