LIMPOPO – A 29-year-old Limpopo businesswoman and her 34-year-old boyfriend are expected to appear in the Waterval Magistrate Court this morning to face corruption charges following their arrest on Tuesday by the Hawks’ Serious Corruption Investigation in Elim.
The duo allegedly approached a Post Office employee and enticed him with R60 000-00 in exchange for 250 SASSA beneficiary cards.
The Hawks pounced on the suspects immediately after they have handed over R8000-00 gratification as the first installment to the Post Office official.
