Police launch search operation for missing woman and boy

LIMPOPO – The Police in Lebowakgomo outside Polokwane are investigating a case of the missing persons following the disappearance of Tshegofatso Cecilia Makhafola aged 26 from Motantanyane village in Zebediela.

It is alleged that the missing woman’s mother left her at home on 05 September 2020 at about 08:10. The same day at about 10:00, when she returned home, her daughter was nowhere to be found.

Since then, she never came back home and the victim’s mother reported the matter to the police at Lebowakgomo yesterday, on 14 October 2020.

The clothes she was wearing during her disappearance are unknown.

The Police conducted search operations at relatives, friends and surrounding areas without success.

EASTERN CAPE – The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Port Elizabeth are urgently trying to trace a 15-year-old boy who was reported missing from Motherwell in Port Elizabeth.

It is alleged that on Saturday 03 October Luvuyo Mbixo (15) from Motherwell left his home to visit a friend in Kwanoxolo. His family does not know the friend nor do they know where he lives. He never returned home and his family reported him missing at Motherwell Police station yesterday.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing grey track pants, brown jersey, and grey takkies. Efforts made by the family to locate were in vain.
