While in the Phoenix area, Alpha Alarms members noticed an elderly woman believed to be in her 80s, screaming for help near the Silversands Cash and Carry. When our members stopped to assist her, they were informed that she had been robbed of cash, as well as her groceries.
The woman was able to assist Alpha Alarms with a description of the man. Our members searched for him, and when he noticed a marked vehicle approaching, he attempted to flee.
After we gave chase, the suspect was successfully apprehended. The elderly woman confirmed that he was indeed the man responsible for robbing her. She was too traumatised at the time of the incident and did not want to lay a criminal charge against him. Her belongings were returned to her.
