The occupants of a Toyota Corolla escaped injury after their vehicle overturned in Cottonlands near Ndwedwe last night (Saturday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at approximately 21:15 and found that the vehicle was extensively damaged. Three males explained that they were travelling towards Ndwedwe when the driver lost control of the car which overturned and landed back onto its wheels. The driver fled the scene of the accident.
The occupants were suspected of being under the influence of alcohol.
