On Monday, the Soweto Police Flying Squad arrested a suspect in Orlando East following a high-speed car chase.

Members identified the silver Toyota Corolla Quest with 5 occupants and attempted to conduct a Stop-and-Search, but the suspects sped off; a high-speed chase ensued.

The suspects allegedly abandoned their vehicle and ran in different directions, but one suspect was swiftly apprehended.

He was found in possession of a stolen firearm and ammunition.
