FREE STATE – On Tuesday the 15 December 2020, Members of Welkom POP Reaction team currently deployed in Bultfontein to deal with gangsterism received information about people selling drugs whilst busy with crime prevention at Phahameng Location, IYO PARK Section.
They proceeded to the said house and requested to search the house wherein they found 29 Mandrax tablets and cash. Permission was granted. A 32-year-old woman was arrested for dealing with drugs.
Members proceeded to a house in Alexandra Street, Phahameng, and arrested a 52-year-man and a 27-year-old woman for dealing in drugs after 100 Cat drugs and cash were found in their house.
A 29-year old member of IJP gang was later arrested for possession of dangerous weapons after a knife was found in his possession.
All the suspects will appear in Bultfontein Magistrate court soon.
