It is alleged that on 01 January 2018 at 01:30, the deceased Bafisani Dlamini (27) of Ezindlozi area, Nkandla was enjoying with other family members when she received a call from the father of her child Muzi Zakhe Zuma. She went to meet Zuma and never returned. After a while her mother became concerned and she went to search for her daughter and was shocked to find Bafisani lying a few meters outside their yard with a gunshot wound on the left shoulder.
A case of murder was opened at Nkandla police station for further investigation. Since January 2018 Zuma (the deceased boyfriend) has been on the run, the warrant of arrest was issued by the Nkandla Magistrate’s Court on 23 May 2018.
