A baby was delivered at by Medics in the back of an ambulance while being transported to the hospital yesterday.
The 30-year-old female, arrived at the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Headquarters with her husband after she went into labor at their Osindisweni residence. RUSA Medics began transporting the female, however, as they approached Umhlanga they were forced to stop the emergency vehicle along the M41 and deliver the baby.
The mother and her 3.4kg son were then transported to a hospital in Durban.
