Deputy Minister Magadzi visits Madibogopan on Shova Kalula bicycle drive

The Deputy Minister of Transport, Ms. Dikeledi Magadzi will extend the Shova Kalula bicycle program to the G.S Phoi Secondary School in Madibogopan North West. Ms. Magadzi will donate 155 bicycles to the school. Pupils who do not have scholarly transport, and as a result have to walk a distance of 3 to 5 kilometers to school will use the bicycles.

MEC for Education in North West, Ms. Wendy Matsemela will receive the bicycle fleet on behalf of the school. Deputy Minister’s counterparts in the province, MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management Mr. Sello Lehari and MEC for Public Works and Roads Mr. Oageng Molapisi will also officiate over the ceremony. The Executive Mayor of Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality, Cllr Tshepo Justice Makolomakwa will also be part of the ceremony. The Mayor of Ratlou Local Municipality, Cllr Segametsi Ntladi, will accompany the executive mayor.
