The vigilance of police resulted in the arrest of two suspects in Nyanga who had robbed a learner this morning at about 09:30 in Emms Drive.
The leaner was walking in the street when the two suspects approached him, one pointing him with a firearm and the other demanding his cellular telephone.
A scuffle ensued and the suspects managed to flee with the cellular telephone.
The victim flagged a police vehicle down that was on patrol and reported the robbery. A search of the suspects ensued which led to the arrest of the two aged 15 and 16.
The 15-year-old was found in possession of the unlicensed firearm and the 16-year-old in possession of the learner’s cellular telephone.
