Victim robbed of a bin packet containing approximately R50 000 in cash while on his way to purchase stock for his supermarket

A man was robbed of a bin packet containing approximately R50 000 in cash while on his way to purchase stock for his supermarket.

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene. On arrival, it was established that a silver VW Golf 7 drove up to two men in a Toyota Quantum. Two suspects approached the vehicle when one of them produced a firearm and robbed the victims of a black bin packet containing the cash. The suspects then fled in an unknown direction.

The victims were not injured.
