KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Ms Neliswa Peggy Nkonyeni today, 08 April 2021 visited families of 10 road crash victims in Kwa Nongoma to pay respect offer condolences on behalf of the provincial government, on Tuesday 06 April a horrific accident occurred on R34 in Vryheid involving 3 vehicles.
It is alleged that one vehicle failed to stop at a designated stop sign, ultimately colliding with the two vehicles.
MEC Nkonyeni revealed today that the government has initiated both forensic and engineering investigations. MEC Nkonyeni committed the government to assist the bereaved families during this difficult period.
