Cyclist run over on the R614 in Tongaat

A 59-year-old man suffered moderate injuries after he was run over on Noodsberg Road in Tongaat.

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on the scene where it was established that the elderly male was traveling to his place of employment when he collided with a vehicle. He was treated for his injuries on the scene before being transported to the hospital by ambulance.

The occupants of the vehicle were not injured.
