Fatal crash at the intersection of Stanger and Argyle Roads in the Stamford Hill

Emergency services were called to the scene of a high impact collision between a light motor vehicle and a minibus taxi, at the intersection of Stanger and Argyle Roads in the Stamford Hill Area.

Reports from the scene are that sadly a female believed to be approximately thirty-four years of age, suffered fatal injuries and was declared deceased on arrival of paramedics.

A man believed to be approximately forty years old suffered serious injury whilst as many as six commuters from the minibus sustained minor to moderate injuries.

The injured were triaged and treated on scene before being taken to hospital by various ambulance services.

The cause of the collision and the events preceeding it are unknown and will form the subject of a South African Police Services investigation.
