A white Nissan Sentra was extensively damaged after it caught alight on Palmview Drive in Phoenix today (Saturday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on the scene and found the fire spreading rapidly throughout the vehicle. According to the driver, he suddenly got a strong smell of fuel when smoke started billowing out of the engine compartment. He pulled over to investigate when the car burst into flames.
The blaze was extinguished by the Ethekwini Fire Department however the car was completely destroyed.
