Wood and iron home destroyed in a fire in Parkgate

A wood and iron home and it’s contents were gutted in a fire in B Section, Parkgate.

Residents in area contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) and reported the fire. On arrival, Reaction Officers found the entire structure which was situated a few meters away from the main building engulfed in flames.

The blaze was extinguished by the Ethekwini Fire Department who arrived minutes later. No injuries were reported.

The cause if the fire was not established.
