Phalaborwa SAPS determined to keep community safe

The South African Police Service in Phalaborwa
represented by Sergeant Nkwinika and Sergeant Makhubela conducted crime awareness campaign today, Wednesday 09 June 2021 at Phalaborwa CBD and Post Office.

More than 100 people were reached and safety pamphlets were distributed. The community members were sensitised about crime trends in the area such as:

*Theft by false pretence.
*Fraud
*Burglaries
*Shoplifting*Theft out of motor vehicle

They were also encouraged to break the silence against Gender Based Violences (GBV), Sexual offences and criminal activities in general.

In conclusion, an appeal was made to the community to adhere to the COVID-19 regulations.
