Police engage with the community to combat crime

The South African Police Service in Bolobedu outside Tzaneen under Mopani District have today, 07 June 2021 embarked on a community outreach programme at Mohlabaneng Local Tribal office, the street committee formed part of the meeting.

The Acting Station Commander Lieutenant Colonel Molokwane S.M., Vispol Commander Lieutenant Colonel Ramphele K. P. J, Sector 3 Commander Warrant Officer Sepae and Community Policing Forum Chairperson Mr Lebopa took part in the initiative.

The following issues were discussed:

-Crime happening in the village.
-How the relationship between the community and the police benefits the community in terms of fighting crime.
-The street patrol committee was appreciated for the hard work.

Lieutenant Colonel Molokwane emphasised on adhering to the Covid-19 regulations especially in funerals and other gatherings. She also condemned mob-justice.
