Police seek missing teenage boy from the Eastern Cape

The Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Gqeberha is urgently seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 16-year-old teenage boy who went missing from his home in Helenvale on Friday, 28 May 2021.

It is alleged that on the mentioned date, at about 14:00 Shelton Preston Afrikaner of Elk Street in Helenvale left his house and never returned. He was wearing blue shorts, a blue T-shirt, a black K-Way top, a blue hooded top, and white and blue Tommy takkies. It is not the first time that he had left home. According to his family, his mental functioning is that of a 10-year-old child.
