Road closure during the Iron Man 70.3 event The following roads will be closed to all public vehicles and bicycles from 05:00-14:30 on Sunday 6 June 2021 ??‍♀?

The M4 Ruth First Highway will be closed in both directions from the M17/Sandile Thusi Road intersection near SUNCOAST Casino up to Umdloti at the Main Road/M27 intersection. Use the M12 or N2 as alternate routes. This closure is for both vehicles and bicycles.

Snell Parade will be closed in both directions from the SUNCOAST/ Battery Beach Road circle to the Sunkist/ Country Club Beach Circle. Use the M12/ Masabalala Yengwe Ave as an alternate.

The SUNCOAST bound lane of Battery Beach Road will be closed between Masabalala Yengwe Ave and the SUNCOAST/Snell Parade circle. Use the M17 as an alternate.

ONE LANE WILL BE CLOSED ON THE FOLLOWING ROADS FROM 05:00 – 14:30:

On the city bound lanes of the M12/Masabalala Yengwa Avenue between Isaiah Ntshangase Dr and Battery Beach Road. On the N2 bound lanes of the M27/ Main Road over the M47Umdloti intersection bridge.

SIBAYA CIRCLE/ M4 CROSS-OVER FOR RESIDENTS ON RACE DAY:

Residents from Sibaya can cross the M4 at the Sibaya Circle which connects Heleza Boulevard to Sibaya Drive. This crossover is managed by the eThekwini Metro Police with the support of course marshals Use the N2 as an alternative route as this M4 portion is closed.
