A white Toyota Hilux bakkie that was stolen from Bhambayi, Phoenix was recovered in Oakford, Verulam this afternoon (Thursday).
A resident in the area contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at approximately 17:09 after she noticed the bakkie abandoned near her residence. On arrival, Reaction Officers requested a check on the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) which confirmed that the bakkie was reported stolen at the Inanda SAPS yesterday (Wednesday).
The vehicle was handed over to the Verulam SAPS for further investigation.
